The Importance of 'Mindfulness'


Everyone has a time in their life when things are getting too much and I think realizing that is the first step to serenity.


It's important to take time out for yourself, whether you do yoga for ten minutes in the morning or you put on a face mask, just doing a small relaxing gesture each day really will help to revitalize your being.


During a bad point in my life I decided to attend a mindfulness workshop which is something I'd never heard about before. Basically the workshop was all about teaching you ways to really take in and enjoy the world around you. These tactics were as simple as taking the time to appreciate a beautiful sunset or a delicious smelling meal. It may seem like small things but incorporating these into my every day life made a whole world of good. It gave me a new appreciation for the small things and not taking those pleasures in life for granted.





It's time you make yourself a priority.
